Urban Connection was a new diasporan DJ crew in the underground scene in Aarhus, that aimed to create community through music.
I chose to join Urban Connection because I wanted to DJ for quite some time, yet I felt too different from most people that was DJ'ing around me. After I started to talk with Kuldip and Maninder about the project I instantly felt connected - I felt I could share my taste of music with the crew, while also resonating with the overall vision of redefining the way we party in Aarhus.

As a mixed coloured person growing up in Denmark, passing the age of 26 made me investigate my Nigerian roots even deeper.
